Jonathan Cannon

RRC, REWC, RRO, REWO, CDT Managing Principal

Jon is widely recognized for his comprehensive design approach and meticulous attention to detail. These qualities have allowed him to excel in the design of complex projects, including those with challenging sites, tight budgets, and unique construction obstacles. His career is built on a passion for fostering rewarding client relationships, delivering thorough designs, and offering expert guidance.  Jon co-founded Hollon+Cannon Group to provide clients with a hands-on design professional dedicated to addressing their needs.

Jon’s attention to detail, combined with his ability to collaborate seamlessly with Architects, Construction Teams, and, most importantly, Owners, ensures that each project meets the needs of all involved. His approach embodies the firm’s mission to invest in clients, pursue continuous knowledge, and nurture positive relationships with all parties, all focused on achieving the Owner’s goals. As Lead Designer and Project Manager for multi-million dollar roofing and waterproofing projects, Jon’s exceptional organizational and management skills, along with his practical knowledge of roofing and building envelope systems, provide tremendous value to clients. Jon is frequently called upon by clients, contractors, and architects to lead or contribute to assessments and design processes for complex projects across Texas.

As a founding member of the IIBEC Central Texas Chapter and though continued efforts with IIBEC, Mr. Cannon has played a significant role in advising and advancing the building envelope industry throughout the State of Texas. He currently serves as the IIBEC Region IV Director, representing Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mexico. Over the years, he has contributed to numerous IIBEC committees, task forces, and strategic planning initiatives. His dedication has been recognized with prestigious honors, including the Emerging Professional Award (2015), the Michael DeFrancesco Award (2017), and the President’s Outstanding Volunteer Award (2021).
