Assessments & Evaluations
HCG will evaluate existing roofing and other building enclosure systems to determine deficiencies and the most cost-effective remedies for any items found needing attention.
A comprehensive report containing written descriptions and photographic documentation of all suspect conditions is developed and delivered to the client. Included in the report are recommendations for viable solutions and detailed cost estimates for each.
Contract Documents
We produce comprehensive and precise construction documents, including technical specifications, roof plans, elevations, and details, ensuring clear communication and on-time, on-budget project completion.
Contract documents are important to ensure appropriate communication of a project design by the designer to the contractor and other project participants.
Document & Design Review
Our extensive, specialized experience in the roofing and building enclosure industry can be utilized to review design documents produced by other A/E firms for compliance with industry and manufacturer’s standards.
HCG will review drawings and specifications for system requirements, warrantability, and most notably constructability with correct design concepts identifying problematic designs or conditions based on years of hands on experience.
Contract Administration
As part of HCG’s contract administration services, our experienced professionals will assist the client through the bidding and negotiation phase, helping to select the right contractor.
We will also lead pre-construction, construction, and post-construction meetings to ensure the project stays on track and aligns with the contract documents.
Construction Quality Control
One of the most valuable services provided by HCG during construction are site visits to monitor the installation and construction of designed work. Inspections performed following the completion of work do not have the benefit of observing the construction while in progress.
