Hollon+Cannon will evaluate existing roofing and other building envelope systems to determine deficiencies and the most cost-effective remedies for any items found needing attention. A comprehensive report containing written descriptions and photographic documentation of all suspect conditions is developed and delivered to the client. 

Successful and cost-effective construction relies upon appropriate communication of a project design by the designer to the contractor and other project participants.  From project conception, through design and construction, to facility management, effective communication of the project requirements depends largely on having complete and coordinated construction documents.  

With the wide variety of roofing materials and unlimited application conditions in today's market it is difficult to maintain a working knowledge of acceptable design and installation practices.  Add to that, the responsibility of designing and overseeing the entire building, and it is easy to see why more and more Design Professionals are enlisting the services of Hollon+Cannon.                                     

As part of HCG's contract administration services, our experienced professionals will guide the client through the bidding / negotiation phase of selecting an appropriate contractor. We also lead pre-construction, construction and post-construction meetings specific to our role on the project, doing our part to ensure the project is on-schedule and the contractor is performing per the contract documents.                                    

QC consists of procedures used to determine whether completed items meet the required quality. Features, characteristics, and functional performance as measured and compared with contract requirements.   Essential to the overall success of a project, periodic QC site visits performed by a qualified professional help the Owner to realize the full potential of the designed building system.  

Performing regular roof inspections helps Owners keep their roofing warranties in compliance, and helps extend the lives of the roofs by identifying problems before they become catastrophic. Finding and repairing a leak soon after it occurs can prevent costly damage to the insulation and roof decking, not to mention the contents of the building.
