Principal
Jon is widely known for his comprehensive design approach and acute attention to detail. Combined, these attributes have allowed him to excel in the design of complex projects, including difficult sites, tight budgets, and unique construction complications. His career has been built on a passion for developing rewarding client relationships, thorough designs and expert guidance. Jon co-founded Hollon+Cannon Group to provide clients with a hands-on design professional that will focus on the client's needs.
Jon's attention to detail, coupled with his ability to work hand-in-hand with the Architect, Construction Team and, most importantly, the Owner translates into a project that works for everyone involved. His approach embodies the firm's mission to invest in its clients, pursue knowledge, and foster a positive kinship with all parties striving to achieve the Owner's goals. As Lead Designer and Project Manager of multi-million dollar roofing / waterproofing projects, Jon's strong organizational and management skills, combined with his practical knowledge of roofing / building envelope systems, brings clients exceptional value. Jon has been called upon routinely by clients, contractors and architects to lead or contribute to the assessment and/or design process on complex projects throughout Texas.
Jon's commitment to the Industry and Consulting Community led him to become one of the founding members of The Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing, & Building Envelope Professionals (RCI) San Antonio / Austin Chapter. He has twice served as Chapter President and continues to be involved with the development and success of the Chapter. His affection for the education of the building envelope community has allowed him to provide educational presentations though the local RCI Chapter, as well as present himself to local design firms, organizations and owners. Clients can rest assured that their interests are well protected when represented by Jon and the Hollon+Cannon Group.
